About

Dr. Tina IMG

WHO AM I

I am an author, speaker, and grief advocate whose work centers on life after loss not as a return to who you were, but as a reckoning with who you are becoming.

My life has been shaped by deep love, sudden loss, illness, service, and faith. I am a widow. I am a mother. I am a former military officer with 21 years of service. I am someone who has learned, through lived experience, that grief is not something we “get over,” but something we learn to carry with honesty and care.

Faith is part of who I am not as a requirement or expectation for others, but as a source of strength that allows me to hold space for people exactly as they are, wherever they are. My work welcomes those of every belief system, background, and story.

I show up not to fix grief but to honor it.

WHAT I BELIEVE

Grief is not a weakness.
There is no timeline for healing.
Strength does not mean silence.
Transformation after loss is not chosen it happens.
Being witnessed matters.

Grief transforms us whether we want it to or not. My role as a transformational speaker is to name that reality with clarity and compassion, helping people understand what has shifted and how to stand steadily within it.
